Welcome to your next step.
I am an active therapist who understands how challenging it can be to face the issues that bring you to my office. I know because I made the decision myself when I was in crisis. As a compassionate therapist, I believe it is crucial to meet clients where they are (on their healing journey to address their unique needs, and it is my mission to provide a supportive and safe space for growth to occur.
As a Registered Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Windsor, I have over 10 years experience working with a wide range of complex challenges and concerns related to life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I have specialized experience working with youth, children, adults, and seniors who are dealing with mental health difficulties and life stressors.

In therapy, I apply a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused, and Mindfulness perspectives with clients. I am passionate about staying up to date with the best practices in psychotherapy.
My passion for counselling stems from my own lived experiences struggling with differing forms of anxiety, depression, poverty, homelessness, abuse and supporting friends and family with trauma, grief, and loss. My personal life journey is proof of the effectiveness of counselling, advocacy and support, which are necessary tools to work through traumatic experiences.
I believe that to overcome adversities in life, one needs to connect with an individual who has a compassionate heart and is willing to hold your hand as you navigate through your fears. Thus, with the right therapeutic touch, anyone can overcome obstacles and excel through life.
After years of practice, I remain inspired by my clients’ journeys of personal transformation as they build on their skills and experiences to create a life of positive growth.
Ask me why I believe in counseling and I’ll tell you anyone can overcome obstacles and excel through life with the right therapeutic touch.”
